Have a wonderful November!
Ever used a gratitude journal?
Did it work?
If not, could it be that you were just going through the motions and not actually digging in?
Gratitude journaling is more effective if you first make the conscious decision to go all in. That means not just writing an affirmation once and calling it a day. It means elaborating in detail about a particular thing and getting personal. It means opening up and focusing on people to whom you are grateful for. Write about the things of course, but when we go into more detail and move past the superficial list, we begin to see great benefits.
So keep journaling!
How do you feel when someone surprises you with a gift?
Do you feel undeserving of the gift? Or do you feel you have to counter ever act of kindness given you? This can send mixed messages to you friends and the Universe.
To be in balance we must learn to give & receive with love.
Its great you want to give and spread joy! But you also have to allow others the same opportunity to spread joy by giving to you. You have to lovingly accept or else you are sending out the message to the Universe you are not ready to acquire all that you are trying to manifest. Don't block your manifestation - take this as a sign this area of your life needs some attention.
This week examine your deeper feeling on giving and receiving.
You stay mindful when you acknowledge all your many blessings. It also magnifies these positive emotions and allows your body to relax and move into a receptive state. Research shows that positive emotions fade faster than feelings of worry or dread, but once we activity work on maintaining an outlook of gratitude we can shift back to positivity.
An easy way to shift is by beginning a gratitude journal. Each day write three things you are grateful for. These can be big or small, such as the sunshine or a cozy bed to sleep in. When you have trouble shifting back to positive reread past entries and watch as even more good things flood into your life.
The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.
