Hello & Happy Almost Thanksgiving friends,
Hope you are all doing well & feeling healthy. I was thinking just the other day about this quote I found for the Reiki Clinic’s twitter account, “My personal goals are to be happy, healthy and to be surrounded by loved ones." Kiana Tom
Isn’t that a wonderful goal? So simple and to the point but such a dream for some of us. As we head into Thanksgiving and grumble about being with family, long delays at the airport, too many corny advertisements on TV, crazy long sale lines and ever increasing food prices lets take a moment and reflect on how lucky we all are.
No matter where you are or what stage of life your in, if you try you can find something positive to be thankful for. Because the truth is we all have so much to be grateful for, but sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day things & take our blessings for granted.
Give thanks if you are reading this (I know I do!) for the ability to read can change lives, give thanks that you have a device (yours or borrowed) to access the Internet. (Also a game changer.) Give thanks you are healthy enough to read right now. There are plenty of people who are not. Give thanks if you have shelter, food and people that care around you. Because there are many of people who also lack these basic things at this very moment.
There are so many more things to be grateful for, from the planet that houses all of us to just being alive at a time to witness so many marvels. I am also grateful to all of you for your continued support of the Reiki Clinic. We really appreciate you & thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey.
Wishing you a happy, healthy and stress free Thanksgiving,
Sarah & the staff of Serenity Reiki Clinic
