This uncommon stone is also called Sesame Jasper or marble stone. It can be found from a pale white to light sea-foam green color; with black and clear mottling in the stone. It looks slightly like granite, but isn't as porous. Lately there has been some debate about this stone; as to whether it is true Jasper as it contains a mix of other minerals as well as Jasper.
Astrological: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Crystal Healing & Stone Lore:
Like all Jaspers, this is a nurturing stone and good for soothing frayed nerves and a restless mind.
Kiwi Jasper also works on healing the digestive, circulatory, and sexual organs of the body and is especially useful because it does not over stimulate, rather Jasper presents the positive energy in amounts necessary towards facilitating well being and stability.
In the Home:
According to common belief placing a piece of Kiwi Jasper in a room helps to eliminate negative energies and bring about a peaceful calmness. Note: This stone should be cleaned and cleared regularly to be effective. It holds on to negativity and if not cleaned can break easily.
Crystal Therapy & Reiki:
Like all jaspers this is a good all purpose, nurturing stone. It sustains and supports us during times of stress, and brings tranquility and wholeness. Used in healing, it unifies all aspects of your life. Jasper works to align the chakras and absorbs negative energy. Jasper also helps to balance the yin and yang energies and stabilize the aura. If you have been ill for a long period of time, this stone makes a wonderful gift as it helps ones energy to remain strong and consistent, speeding up the recovery process.
Physically Jasper is thought to help with healing the kidneys, spleen, bladder, liver and stomach. Many people think that Jasper can heal the deterioration of internal organs, break a fever and help mineral absorption of the body.

Life can be frightening. Between threats of terrorism, natural disasters and media overload we can easily get caught up in fearful thinking, I think we tend to forget that fearful thoughts of danger can trigger feelings of vulnerability and anxiety. Often the key is to remember they are just “thoughts” not facts.
Today's card on the (almost) daily card pull on Snap Chat summed this up. We get caught in fearful thinking and it is difficult to move past it. We then manifest more anxiety by worrying. The key is to remember that we are safe and to trust our own judgement. Listen to your intuition and your body, if you feel something is a bad idea, then don't go. But also don't let fear from the media or other people stop you from living your life.
The affirmation for this card is: “I am safe. I am secure. I am completely protected at all time.” Repeat as needed throughout the day to dispel anxiety and fearful thoughts.
The card is from the Fairies Oracle Deck and the stones pictured are green aventurine and tumbled quartz.

Today's post is a short video discussing how these reiki infused coloring books came about. I also show you step by step how to do a problem solving meditation with a mandala.
I hope you like it!
Hope your having a great Monday!
Things are busy here at the Reiki Clinic. New gems and jewelry just arrived and are waiting to be priced. (Now the hard part is not keeping it all!) Plus I'm seeing new clients today and we have new classes starting.
If you are looking for a unique gift or a special stone, email us here at the clinic. We have way more stock than we ever list in the web store. If we don't have it, chances are good we can point you in the right direction to find it somewhere. We are all crystal obsessed too.
Have a great week and be on the look out for a new Youtube video on meditating with mandalas this week. Goddess willing it should be up by Wednesday on the Clinic Youtube channel.
Check out the new video and let me know what you think.
I hope your week is going well! I’m happy to announce more coloring books have been added to Amazon. Find them here. Did I mention the coloring books are all one-of-a-kind? I drew every single one of these reiki infused prints, no outsourcing or recycling of images. Each book contains 30+ new drawings to help you.
The reason these books came about was since 2007 I have given coloring pages to clients to relax with. Different designs will trigger different reactions; simpler, easier to color designs will help the mind relax and allow you to drift off to sleep, while more complex designs allow the brain to move into "problem solving" mode. Other designs help with anxiety and allow you to relax and calm down.
If you want to know more about the books click here and here, you can buy them from Amazon or directly from Serenity. If you won a book in the last webinar, they are shipping out now. :D
These designs can also be used to make foundations for crystal grids and during meditation. (Plus they are fun to color!) Let me know what you think and be sure to leave feedback on Amazon!
Just a super short video about 4 common gemstones you need in your collection.
I must admit when I came upon a sale of Yellow Obsidian - I had never heard of it. I was looking to buy several pounds of yellow claclite for the current Chakra Course I am teaching. But my trusted gem wholesaler suggested these gems instead. She assured me I would love the stones.
Was she right?
While I’m speaking honestly with you I will admit to having a slight addiction to Obsidian already, mostly snowflake. I have spheres, points, tumbled stones and jewelry, need I say more? So the thought of adding to my collection was intriguing, but yellow obsidian? WTH? If you are obsessed with stones too, then you probably know that black is the most common color of obsidian. However, it can also be brown, tan, or green. Rarely, obsidian can be blue, red, orange, or yellow. The colors are thought to be caused mainly by trace elements or inclusions. Meaning this yellow obsidian is a very rare stone.
When the stones arrived I was immediately transfixed! If you follow me on SC (Sarahpthomas) then you saw (and asked me questions) about the many snaps I posted of these cool stones.
But What Do They Do?
These cubes of yellow goodness are said to be great for protecting children, especially from bully’s and a great aide in getting to the “root” of whats really bothering you.
People also say they are great for anyone lacking self-esteem and are often used to boost self awareness. They are also used by healers to help calm and center oneself prior to energy working. This is done by holding a tumbled piece in your hand as you focus on your breathing and clear your mind. Almost instantly you will feel calmer and more self assured.
They also help one connect to their 3rd chakra energies in a gentle way. Making them perfect for third chakra work.
If you want to add a piece to your collection jump over here to the stone page and grab yours before they are all sold out.
