Reiki blessings, Sarah  Hello Everyone! I hope your all well and enjoying the end of January. I have finished up with the latest rounds of clients in NYC and am in Iceland for some much needed R and R. It's so amazing here! The energy of the island is so strong and uplifting!  The Volcanic rock is so cleansing too! Speaking of clearing and healing... I'm booked all of Feb and into March at this point, so if you need to see me or schedule an appointment I suggest you don't wait. I will be returning to Texas in May and have a few slots open then, but only a few.

Sarah  Hello Friends, We just received a shipment of natural Fluorite Octahedron Crystals! These will sell out immediately but I was so excited I wanted to share these amazing stones with you. What are they and are they natural? Yes! These are naturally formed Fluorite Octahedron crystals. Did you know Fluorite forms naturally in octahedron-shaped molecules? I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Its busy here as per the norm. I am about to teach a new Reiki I class via Skype over the course of the next few months. The Reiki Attunements will be given in person in October in Texas, USA. I wrote a letter to the new students about the Attunement and thought I would share it on the blog as well, as there is some confusion about what exactly a Reiki attunement is and does. What Is A Reiki Attunement? The main purpose of an attunement is to raise your energy level, plus strengthen your connection to the universal spiritual energy we call Reiki. After your first attunement you will be able to effectively channel Reiki energy at will. In Japanese, this ceremony is called Reiju (pronounced Ray-joo) and it means spiritual energy blessing. In the modern Reiki ceremony, your body moves into a spiritual state, beginning with meditation. Then through the use of ancient sounds or symbols you will be brought to a place of harmony and your mental and emotional bodies will be “imprinted” with Reiki. This begins a deep cleansing and clearing of the emotional and physical energy bodies. The attunement also clears your meridians, the energy pathways of your body and works on the chakras. This allows energy to flow more freely through you. The attunement also aligns your spiritual essence to re-connect you to your true “higher self" or your soul. This can be a deeply moving moment or a subtle energy shift depending on the individual. As a Reiki Master Teacher we not have any special healing or magical powers to pass along. All we do is act as a channel to provide or create a safe place for you to draw in this divine energy, we hold space that allows you (the recipient) to connect to universal life force energy (or Source) and your higher self or soul. We facilitate this through the traditional ceremony. You will draw energy to the level where you specifically need it. You cannot ever get “too much” Reiki. The higher self only takes as much as it needs to process at your level of healing. This attunement begins a 21 day deep cleansing and detox period. This cleanse includes mental, emotional, physical and/or spiritual detoxification and you may experience many changes. The Reiki will go where it is needed to clear blocks and help you realign on many levels. By receiving an attunement or reiju at each Reiki level, you accept the universal energy to support your person spiritual journey. It is your own personal responsibility to prepare for the attunement. The success of the Reiki attunement is entirely up to you. Just as your success on your personal journey depends entirely on how much time and effort you are willing to apply; the more effort you make, the more you practice, the more the Reiki energy will flow and deeper levels of personal healing will be possible. I am so excited to announce we have added new activations, attunements and clearings to the website. We added so many that we ended up with a new categories in the store. Check them out here (The Healers Toolbox). You do not have to be a healer or a Reiki person to benefit from these powerful sessions, although some are designed for Reiki Level II and up. What are Activations? For the past few years I have offered Solstice or Eclipse activations for healing and clearing during these powerful times. (But only for a limited time and usually only a few people were are able to benefit.) I also routinely offer block clearings for my Reiki clients during sessions and attunements to help my students activate their own healing power. But now anyone can benefit from a live (or group) session. I do these long distance via Skype, Viber or Text. If you want to book a one to one session with me please email and we will discuss my travel schedule. Below are the questions I am frequently asked about these powerful sessions. Q. Why are most of these done as texts, not Skype or phone sessions? A. Because I am running this intense energy and cannot always speak. We can do Skype if you prefer, just ask! Q. What will I experience? A. It depends. How in tune are you with your physical and spiritual body? How much effort did you put into preparing for the session? Also the amount of water you drink MAKES A HUGE difference in the effectiveness of the attunements. Q. How long will this last? A. Each session varies in time. Please refer back here for individual times. Q. I’m a Reiki person, should I turn on the Reiki before we start? A. Yes, if you like. The combined energies flow together and compliment each other. Q. I would like to have a “personal” session. Will you ever be in my city? A. Perhaps, I do travel a bit. Lets discuss via email. Q. Could you do a group of people? My friends and I want to activate our inner goddess. Would their be a discount? A. Perhaps we could arrange a group call and discount. Let’s discuss. Q. Are you available to speak at my Yoga Workshop? A. Sure, if I am in the area, please email me and we can discuss. Q. I’m bought the release fear activation. How many sessions will it take and do you offer a discount? A. It depends on how much of a grip this emotion has on your life. Most people need multiple sessions, if this is the case for you, I can work out a discount for you. Q. I bought a couple of different activations. Can I do multiple sessions in one day? A. No, you need to wait at least a week between sessions. The energy will be working on you for at least one week after each session. Q. Will these sessions bring up emotional problems? A. It is a very strong possibility. Especially if are carrying around experiences that need to be healed. But this is a good way to escalate the healing process. Q. How long have you been doing these sessions? A. For 25 years. 12 years ago I added Reiki to them. I usually only make them available to my students or personal clients. Q. I have to cancel my session. Will I loose my money? A. No, we will work with you to find another date for your session.Q. I have never had reiki, will this still work on me? A. Yes, it will.Q. Can I learn to do these attunements? A. Yes, I will be teaching a class on attunements and activations next year. If you are interested I suggest you emil the clinic now to reserve your place. Q. How will I know it worked? A. You may have an intensive reaction or it might be subtle. We trust the energy to know what is best for you. I suggest you journal your feelings for the next week and note any odd feeling or coincidences that appear. I hope this answers some of your questions about this sessions. I hope you are all well. Today I thought we would talk about what you could expect at a typical Reiki session at Serenity, but to be honest there is no such thing as a typical Reiki treatment. Each session is as different as the person involved. We combine Reiki with nutritional advice, coaching, chakra balancing, Native American wisdom and a lot of listening. It truly is a personal experience tailored to your own needs. I was speaking with a client regarding her life during a recent session. She was only 33 and yet was having a myriad of health problems. We explored her diet (which she was in the process of taking control of) and her life. She was devoting her life to being a "super woman" you know, perfect mother to a young child, perfect wife, super employee at her job, super, caring friend to her group of friends, involved with her child's school and going to university to up her degree. She was emotionally and physically burnt out and her body was trying to tell her to slow down. This dynamic lady was suffering from acid reflux, IBS, migraines, irregular heart beats, gall stones, kidney stones, loss of sexual drive, allergies, anxiety, depression, and was in the beginning stages of arthritis. She was not sleeping well (or enough), and generally feeling like crap. When I asked her how long this was going on she replied about 5 years! After one hour on the Reiki table she looked liked a new person! She looked a good 10 years younger and even her voice changed! Will the Reiki session "cure" her? NO, it will not. But hopefully the session will allow her to sleep better, give the body extra energy to repair past damage and also help her to think about what we talked about. We discussed self love, taking time out for personal care/healing and the super woman myth. I also gave her ways she could relax and things to think about before the next session. I worked on her chakras (the energy centers of the body) and discussed symptoms related to these being out of balance. So in many ways this was a typical session. She was referred by a friend, came in a skeptic and walked (or floated) out happier than she expected. We never really know what the Reiki is going to do, but we do trust it to get to the heart of the matter. Each Reiki session is truly a personal experience. Reiki helps on so many levels and adjusts to each persons needs. With Reiki you feel better, sleep better and also begin to understand that things can change. You can feel better again.
