We are looking for an outstanding virtual intern with excellent multi-tasking skills, experience in friendly customer service and a postive, comapssionate attudue. If you want to learn the ins and out of a thriving and ethical healing business, are motivated and inspired to help others, we may be a great fit! 

The Serenity Reiki Clinic provides online energy sessions, Wellness classes, sells merch, and overs Spiritual Coaching. We need someone familiar with all things woo-woo to help us support our growing community. We're ideally looking for an organized and detail-oriented virtual assistant to handle customer service, community management, and various administrative tasks. Some weeks will be slow; some weeks will be busy. 

Familiarity with Weebly, Canva, Google Drive, Mailchimp, Jotform, and Slack, is recommended. But we will also consider open-minded people that want to learn. 

You will be applying for an intern position consisting of approximately 15 hours per week for one full year. At the end of one year, you will receive one full year of coaching sessions (4 sessions per month) for free. You will also be able to attend all events, classes, courses, and activations for the entire year for free. There will be a 30 day trial period to see if we are a "good fit." You will gain valuable hands-on experience and insight into the day-to-day operations of an online health and wellness business.


Some of your tasks will include:

• Editing Videos using simple editing programs
• Creating PDF certificates for students after program completion (using a Word Processor such as Pages for Mac or MS Word)
• Moderating blog comments, Youtube comments and website testimonials (deleting spam, approving appropriate comments and testimonials, and replying to questions or comments on blog posts)
• Creating social media post on Canva
• Managing student testimonials
• Minor website page updates (uploading photos, updating course materials, etc.)
• Contacting media outlets with content for publication, scheduling podcast interviews, etc
• Customer service (responding to customer questions and technical support issues)
• Occasional large projects (such as creation & management of contests, assistance with running our scholarship program, creating student/subscriber surveys or polls, etc.)
• Replying to comments on social media posts and in our student Facebook group

We are looking for someone motivated, driven, and goal-oriented. 
 This job will also sometimes include larger, creative tasks that will require planning, teamwork, and good problem-solving skills. For this reason, it is also essential that you enjoy playing a supportive role at times. The position requires a flexible, upbeat personality who is also a group player.

There is also potential for growth within this position. As the clinic grows, we will possibly add more positions.

 Good communication skills are also essential to us to stay super clear on the most important goals for our community and how to prioritize these big picture projects amongst daily tasks. Most importantly, we need someone who "gets" what we do and understands our customers and how we can best serve them together.

If you are a disciplined, productive VA with a positive attitude who enjoys an occasional fun challenge, you would be an excellent fit for the clinic. Since our mission is to share healing classes with others, you should also be open-minded and love to provide compassionate customer service and support.

Respecting deadlines and following instructions well are a MUST for this position. It would be best if you also were open to frequent plan changes as our team moves quickly and sometimes shifts focus or changes direction to best serve the needs of our customers.

We communiocate about day-to-day tasks with Slack to save us all time while still allowing us a chance to check in when needed. 

Specific tasks  will include things like:

• Daily engagement in FB group and page Monday-Friday
• Managing program delivery email campaigns via Mailchimp
• Scheduling monthly emails
• Planning group events in the student FB group (pop-up classes, challenges, etc.)
• Creating FB events main page + groups
• Scheduling and promoting Q&A nights via the Facebook group
• Scheduling occasional promotional posts in FB groups
• Putting together monthly student gazette email
• Additional promo and tasks as determined in team meetings
• Communicating with + scheduling podcast guest interviews
• Adding recordings to course site
• Adding monthly videos and updates for ongoing courses
• Alerting project manager of any issues on student site, such as missing info, broken links, etc. as well as identifying trends, frustrations, opportunities within our student community
• Monitoring standard tech issues and alerting Project Manager
• Checking links on Webinar events - editing "Notification" emails to be formatted correctly, with the correct links and information
• Responding to tech support issues
• Answering class questions from students via email and FB posts
• Sending reminders, updating calendars with Candley
• All other misc. Customer Queries (excluding billing)
• FB group engagement, including replies to comments, post moderation and accepting/declining group membership requests through Monday-Friday.
• Forwarding billing questions to Project Manager
• Help create/update any applicable program & class materials (transcripts, homework, quizzes, etc., as needed) via pages, etc.
• Moderate blog comments in Weebly
• Manage testimonial permissions & organization
• Answer Social Media questions
