“When we have faith and discipline everything becomes easier. Patience is the mother of all virtues. With anxiety all our lives become worse.”
― Chico Xavier

“Dreams disdain fine lines and finishing touches on landscapes – they content themselves with thick but representative brushstrokes.”
― Joaquim Maria Machado de Assis
What do your dreams say about you? Is your soul trying to tell you something?
Take a moment each morning when you awake to jot down your dreams. Its doesn't matter if you only remember parts or just images, write down what you remember. Keeping a dream journal by your bedside is one of the most beneficial & easiest ways to begin the process of dream recall.
Dreams can be snap shots of your day, flights of fantasy, lucid adventures or internal wisdom. No matter which types of dreams you are experiencing, it is important to listen.
“It's a sad day when you find out that it's not accident or time or fortune, but just yourself that kept things from you.”
― Lillian Hellman
Todays is your day. What are waiting for?
Hello Lovely Beings~
Will you be attending the "Building Your Reiki Business" Class this Saturday? It is via Skype so you don't have to drive to The Lake District, to attend. (Click the link for the details.)
Why this topic for a class? I am continuously asked business questions, so I thought I would offer this as a new series of classes. I would love to tell you that I could convey all I know in a few hours, but- just as I can't teach you all about Reiki in a weekend, I can't even begin to cover my 10+ years of experience doing Reiki Professionally. In Class One we will begin with the basics. "Why do you want to open a Reiki business?" "What experience can you draw from?" "Where do you want this to take you and how much are you prepared to put into a business?"
In later classes we will also discuss:
and other topics.
For most of us in the "new age" community (I hate to use labels), we work very much from the creative side of the brain. Just as artists and musicians create, so do we. And just as they find, like most of us, the thought of writing a business plan or even coming up with a web name can be so daunting that we freeze up and never move forward. Hopefully these classes will answer some of your questions and show you how I (and several of my colleagues) pushed through these blocks and built successful businesses.
“Nobody can teach me who I am. You can describe parts of me, but who I am - and what I need - is something I have to find out myself.”
― Chinua Achebe
Hello beautiful beings of light!
What do you think of that quote? "Nobody can teach me who I am." Strong words, aren't they? But there is so much truth there.
Only you can know yourself and whats right for you. Our family, teachers and friends all may think they know whats best for us, but in the end the decision is our own. Even coming form a place of love, others cannot really know what the correct path for someone else should be. Only you can know your own heart and what is the correct path for you.
What is your soul longing for and where are on your journey? Are you moving towards your souls needs or away from them? Are they really your desires or those of others? Why not take some time out today to meditate and journal on your feelings. Look deep inside and then follow the path with the heart. Be the most authentic being you are capable of and let your light shine.
Love & Reiki Blessings,
One of my favorite stones is rose quartz. It is inexpensive, rather pretty and easily found. It is used in jewelry making, grid work, elixirs and for healing. It is commonly found both in the United States and in Brazil.
This pink stone relates to the heart chakra & is thought to help one with love and healing. Unlike red garnet which is thought to foster physical love, rose quartz is the stone of SELF LOVE. Which is in fact where all love begins. After all, how can we truly love someone else when we cannot love ourselves?
The gentle energy of rose quartz reminds us to ease up and not be so tough on ourselves. It is thought to aide us in emotional healing and greatly enhances compassion. It is said to help remove negativity from oneself and bring a calmness to the mind, something many of us could benefit from. If you are working on past traumas it is an excellent stone to assist you.
Rough, tumbled or carved Rose Quartz makes a nice piece to add to your collection.
1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
2. Don't Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.
3. Don't Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.”
― Miguel Ruiz
